GigaDevice, a leading provider of non-volatile memory solutions and 32-bit microcontrollers, today announced the release of the GD25DxxCKIGR Low-Power SPI NOR Flash Memory series with the industry’s smallest USON8 (1.5 mm x 1.5 mm) package. The small size and low-power consumption of the GD25DxxCKIGR make this latest addition to the company’s GD25D 3.0 Volt SPI NOR Flash family ideal for IoT devices, wearables, smartphones, health monitors and other applications requiring ultra-compact designs and superior battery life.

Other highlights of the GD25D family include Zero Standby Current, Low Active Read, Program and Erase Current features. The 128-bit Unique ID functionality offers enhanced security for applications.
